Our work flow will automatically convert your files from the embedded profile in your file to the profile of the selected media coupled with the used printer (perceptive mode with black point compensation).
If you don't have an embedded profile, we consider by default that you use :
Your files 'names can stretch to 255 characters, but we recommend you not to mix up a name and a title and to reasonably limit the number of characters.
See our advice on : Preparation of files
NB : the limited size per file or for the whole order is 1.5Go
At the end of the uploading the application automatically switches to step 3.

- the CMYK color model: Fogra 39 (except for certified proof)
- the grayscale : grey gamma 2.2

The correct images appear in this page in the uploading order *, with a default setting of the media, the format and the quantities.
The names of your images may differ from the original names: the characters with accents are replaced by characters without accents and the blanks are replaced by '_'.
You can add new images anytime.
They are added on the bounce to the previous images.
Reminder : the uploading of an image afterward with the same name as another image will prompt the overwriting of the first image and its setting.
We recommend you to control and rename the images before the uploading.
For each image, you must precise :
If for one image you want different media, formats and finishes, you must click on 'Add a new print for this photo' many times as you have different formats media or finishes.
Selection of the media :
The range of media is variable according to the service.
NB : select the media by default for each service in the section 'your account'.
The information concerning all the media is available here information media
Default format :
*If your files have been prepared within the limit of the maximum roll width for the selected media, they directly appear with the option 'default format' which indicates the final format you want.
NB : if your files haven't been recorded according to the indications above, the 'default' option doesn't appear. In this case you must setup your order with the usual or precise format.
Usual format :
If your files haven't been specifically prepared for the suitable printer or imaging device, the usual format able to contain your image is selected by default or the 10x15 format.
You can select all the other usual formats.
The usual formats chosen for our print and printing services are the following (cm) : 10x15, 13x18, 15x21, 18x24, 21x29,7, 24x30, 30x40, 40x50, 50x60, 60x90, 80x100, 80x120, 100x120, 100x150, 120x180.
NB : If your file is not homothetic to the required usual format, your image will be inserted without cropping inside the required usual format.
For the Frontier C-type service, the image will be refocused in the usual format if it isn't homothetic to the required format, with left/right or top/bottom margins.
In all the other cases, your print will be cut on the image format. If you wish to keep the dimensions of format although your image isn't homothetic to the format, you must add margins in your file before you send it.
Precise format :
Except for Frontier C-type color prints, you can choose a precise format (in cm and limited to the nearest millimeter).
If you select this option, you can enter one of the two dimensions wanted for your print.
The second dimension will be automatically calculated according to the homothecy of your file.
NB : If your print doesn't correspond to the wanted dimension, you must refocus your image with the suitable homothecy before you upload it.
The interface doesn't permit to make anamorphoses.
Specificity for the format of a print to be mounted :
The format of a print to be mounted by us must be extended by 4mm for each dimension (2mm overlap around the image).
If you ask for a mounting, the image format will automatically be extended by 4mm for each dimension. In this way the final mounted format will correspond to the initial format that you asked for.
NB 1: if you already have prepared your image and taken into account the 2mm overlap around the image, you must tick 'already prepared for mounting'.
As a result the mounted format will correspond to the wanted format minus 4mm for each dimension.
NB 2 : if you intend to mount your print later and you didn't prepare your file with the 2mm overlap around the image, tick 'postponed mounting'.
Your print will automatically be re-sized with the necessary overlap, even if you don't order a mounting with your print.
See : Preparation of files for mounting
The selection of the finishes depends on the media selected.
According to the media and the printer, you can select one or several finishing options :
In this case you must choose between these options.
NB 2 : if a finishing option isn't compatible or inadvisable for a particular media, it doesn't appear in the finishing options list.
We show here a colorful figure corresponding to the enlarging or reducing the size your image according to the size requested.
This indicator allows you to indicate the relevance of the requested format based on the information in your file.
However, the quality of an image depends not only on the size of the file. The quality of the scan, the absence of pre-interpolation, the actual distance viewing and the degree of requirement of the observer also interfere in this assessment.
Indicator of expansion is not an absolute factor for judging the quality of a draw.
This is a decision support based on our experience to help you assess the risk you take in too expand your original file.
For some this indicator will be too large. For others, it will be too severe.
up x2,40, green color : the dimensions of your image is sufficient for a quality print
x2,20 to x4,00, orange color : the size of your image is insufficient, the interpolation will be visible
beyond x4, 00, red color : It is recommended to reduce the required format
Our application identifies and displays the embedded ICC profile in your file.
We use this profile to automatically convert towards the ICC space of our media/printer.
NB : the conversion mode used is 'relative with black point compensation'.
You don't have to convert anymore your files before there are sent to optimize quality of your images on the selected media.
You still can access to the whole of our profiles in order to preview the quality (soft-proofing) or to convert the files yourself.
See : Management of ICC profiles
Important : If your file doesn't have an embedded profile, we consider that your working space is the following (by default in each color mode) :
A display thumbnail appears on the left of the setting module.
For the Frontier C-type service, you can preview the white margins that will appear, according to the homothecies file/print, wether at the top and at the bottom or on the right and on the left.
A red net indicates the image border before the margin.
This net will not be printed.
You get a picture of the margin dimension by looking at the image dimension compared to the paper dimension.
For the other services, the thumbnail displays your original full image.
Reminder: Our application doesn't manage the addition of margin or the cropping.
You must refocus and/or add your margins before you upload your files.
NB : the visualization isn't adapted to simulate the quality of our imaging devices or our printers.
If you want to preview the quality of your image on the media that you selected, please use Photoshop with an adapted screen and the profiles of our imaging devices/printers.
See : Management of ICC profiles
Note : A colored image that you want to print in B&W appears in color.
We strongly advise you that you do not make B&W print with colored images.
We recommend you to lesser the saturation beforehand with Photoshop in order to better master your valuable rendering.
At any time, you can check on the final dimensions of your print which are displayed on the right :
The number of copies for each file is not limited.

To save you some time, you can set up an image, choose it as a pattern and pick the other images which will be set up following the pattern (format, media, number of copies, finishing).
It is possible to choose another pattern and to apply it on a part of the order.
It is also possible to go back on the applied patterns and change again some parameters.
NB : If the initial image hasn't the same ratio as the 'pattern' image, it is the bigger dimension which will be kept.
Note : the visualization for the application of the pattern needs another click after the click on the tab 'apply the pattern'. When you reach the last image on which you wish to apply the pattern, click on the background of the setting zone or click on 'see and calculate'.
At any time you can save the current command setup.
